Expo Flor Ecuador 2022, the national floricultural show of Ecuador, was held for the first time since 2018. The show was packed, with over 1,500 attendees visiting from all over the world. While the main cut flower crop in Ecuador is roses, there was a wide variety of other cut flowers now being grown.
Mayesh has had a presence at the show since it was first inaugurated back in the 1990s, and this was by far the best show ever, and easily ranks as world-class. Certainly, the Ecuadorian growers put their best foot forward and offered hospitality, knowledge, and products on par with Holland.
Another first was the attendance of two members of the third generation of the Dahlson family who were “wowed” by the show and the farm tours, and they reciprocally impressed the older members of the team.
