With Valentine's Day just over a month away, we asked some of our Sales Reps to give us some hot tips to pass along to help make the holiday & ordering process as smooth as possible for everyone! It's a busy, stressful time of year for all parties involved, so we hope that this advice helps!
THE PREP

Do a mock-up of some special designs you would like to feature for Valentine's Day. Try to base some designs around any special deals and bulk ordering through your Sales Rep. Next, take amazing pictures and feature them on social media. Have fun with it and even poll your followers to see what trends, colors, and vessels they love.

Review last year's purchases. Your past invoices can be found on your account on mayesh.com here. (Reach out to your Sales Rep if you need help with this). If you are seeing an increase in shop orders, then up your prebooks accordingly.

Review any notes made from the previous year on what was successful and what things you are going to change. Be sure to document all your changes for next year!

Trust me, the relief you will get when you hand over your order to your Sales Rep is unmeasurable. It's so important to have mental clarity going into a big floral holiday like Valentine's Day.

Get your order in as early as possible

When shipping product, allow an extra day in case of any shipping delays. For this year it is suggested to ship out on Monday 2/7 or Tuesday 2/8!
OTHER TIPS
- Saturday will be a big day with walk-ins and deliveries. Sunday however is a different story because it is Super Bowl Sunday. We predict that men will probably not be thinking about Valentine's Day on Super Bowl Sunday and will wake from their hangovers on Monday to realize they've forgotten about the holiday, and then scramble to the flower shop for last-minute goodies. Nonetheless, there are four days of opportunities to sell flowers this year!

If any product arrives damaged or unusable, please make sure to send over pictures of the bad product so we can either work on a refund or replacement
