If you tuned into our virtual Japanese Flower Festival, you already got a sneak peek at this brand new campaign launching today from CalFlowers: That Flower Feeling. We can barely contain our excitement over this new initiative, whose sole purpose is to promote flowers on a national level and introduce them into the massive industry & world of Self-Care!
From thatflowerfeeling.org...
"A cooperative effort to get more Americans enjoying more flowers, more often. From upscale florists, farmers' markets or grocery stores — as long as people are bringing home flowers regularly, that’s good enough for us.
We want everyone to experience the impact of flowers on a daily basis. They’re a beautiful, natural dose of feel-good, so why should they be reserved for special occasions?
Even the most modest bouquet of flowers can have all sorts of positive short and long-term effects on how we feel — in other words, it’s that flower feeling."
Before we go on, let's watch this one-minute video that encompasses the entire campaign:
What do you think?! Did this hit home for any of you? We find this campaign so funny & relatable and hope that it resonates with the general public as much as it did for us.
Our CEO Patrick Dahlson and his daughter Ali (whom you know from our Marketing Team) are both on the CalFlowers Marketing Committee, and couldn't be more proud of what the group has been working on over the past year with Dutch marketing agency 180 Amsterdam. Says Patrick:
"Our hope at CalFlowers is that the entire floral industry would get behind That Flower Feeling campaign, and share the assets that have been created to really start a movement and put flowers out there. I think it’s an amazing opportunity to continue putting flowers at the forefront of people’s minds, and this campaign does just that.”
While this is a paid ad campaign funded by CalFlowers, they still need our help in promoting it and bringing it to a viral level. They have been gracious enough to share the various assets as a gift to the industry in hopes that it is shared at a national level and makes its way to the intended audience.
We have uploaded the assets into a Dropbox file for your convenience, which includes a guide with the proper copy & usage.
Also, don't forget to follow That Flower Feeling on all the Social Media channels, and at the very least use the hashtag #thatflowerfeeling when posting!
And with that, have fun sharing these fabulous videos & images - let's make this thing huge!
