The Mayesh Workshop Scholarship

The Mayesh Workshop Scholarship

Now that we've announced the exciting news about our 2020 workshops with Sue Mcleary, we're thrilled to share that we will be awarding two scholarships to two deserving floral designers!

While we do our best to provide high-quality yet affordable workshops, we know what a stretch it can still be for many of you small business owners. When you attend a Mayesh workshop, you are investing in yourself and in this industry, and we want to return the favor and invest in two movers & shakers looking to improve themselves and the industry as a whole.

**UPDATE**

With over 120 applications that entered to win a Mayesh Workshop scholarship, it was a very hard choice to only select two. Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter and to tell your personal stories! We read through every application with care and selected two people who we would love to attend our workshops.

Without further ado, we have selected Emma Kelsey (@kindred.blooms) for our workshop in Raleigh, NC / October 20-21; and Brianna Gordon (@kaefloralco) for our workshop in San Francisco / July 1-2. Congrats to Emma & Brianna!!

A few important details...

  • Application Deadline - February 29, 2020 ((EDIT: due to the overwhelming response the deadline was shorten to February 19))
  • Scholarship covers the full amount of the workshop ($1600) only. You are responsible for your travel & accommodations
  • Because these workshops will probably sell out quickly, if you purchase a ticket between now and then to save your seat and you end up winning the scholarship, you will be refunded the full amount ($1600)
  • We will select one (1) winner for each of the two workshops - so one scholarship for San Francisco & one scholarship for Raleigh, NC
