In his first video, Tyson creates one of his favorite pieces, a full floral headpiece- or a floral wig as he likes to call it! This is a unique alternative to a veil, for a bride who wants to make an impact with flowers and go an unconventional route.
Tyson creates this floral wig by first using coated chickenwire and moss to form a "helmet," which is shaped around a mannequin to achieve the proper shape. He uses large white chrysanthemums to create the base, and then fills in with Phalaenopsis orchids to give a beautiful, veil-like quality.
